    The amount of calories burned depends on how hard you work and for how long. If you feel like the running is giving you a better workout…it is!

    I really don’t think it matters. You still get the benefits of cardio either way. However, the elliptical is far easier on leg joints than running is.

    i burn 600 calories in 10 minutes on an eliptical
    but thats because i go as fast as i can for 10 minutes no breaks and thats about 275 strides per minute normally people do 150
    i dont really do cardio anymore though
    but yes you can burn more on an eliptical depending on how fast your going and how long running will burn some calories but nothing compared to 300-600
